AIESEC has really been a huge experience, especially when it gave me the opportunity to go to India and learn several things that either professionally or manners. And I must add that the city that I was in ; JAIPUR was purely special , for me it’s the place where everyone should be when he is India . So much history , diversity , colours , not much crowded and very traditionnal ; I won’t forget the period I spent there for sure !! The Aiesec Lads I met there were just cool and ambitious . They were all the time on fire , ready to go and I enjoyed that . I learnt from them and they learnt from me at the same time « POSITIVITY » . With AIESEC ; I had the opportunity to change things in Indian society and indirectly participate in its development and progression and it remains the most crucial thing for me because it can impact the future of the world why not ?! THANK YOU AIESEC , THANK YOU JAIPUR !

I arrived in Jaipur on July 3rd, after a tiring 3 day trip from Brazil. I was very happy to my aiesec buddy and gave him a big hug. He took me to the intern house and I was  positively surprised. The house was big, clean and my room only had two other interns.

For the first two days we did nothing related to Aiesec, but they were great to explore the city and get to know India a little bit. On July 4th we finally had our first induction, it was good and clarified some doubts.

The project effectively started on the second week. We visited all the historical sites always accompanied by an Aiesec member. The people from the LC were very nice and would help us a lot through out the internship. My project would sometimes have miscommunication issues but overall it was a very nice project. The responsible for our projects, Aman and Mudit, were a key element in the steady flow that the project had.

The day I felt a true life changing experience was when they arranged a meeting for us at Jaipur Foot. Seeing the technology and charity that the place promoted was truly inspiring on a personal and professional level.

Overall the experience was great and the LC members were very kind. Specially Aman and Mudit who still stay in touch with me and whom I miss dearly.

On my way to India I received the best advice of my life! " If a glass is empty you can fill it.. If a glass is full you can't, so go to India open minded and fill your heart with everything you can find there, without pre conceded ideas… just go and allow India to fulfill your heart, I guarantee you won't regret it! " - this was the advice from an indian man to a close hearted girl who was about to land in India. Today Im leaving and what I can say is that I'll leave India with a fulfilled heart, with people and feelings that Ive never expected to meet, and I must say that coming to India was the BEST experience of MY LIFE! And something tells me that Ill come back, soon.

Here my thanks to everybody who was present in this adventure. Ill miss you all… lets try not to hug too much because Im all emotive now, so I may cry.

ps: someone told me that you don't change in India, you get better… thats how i feel now.. Im a better person, for sure.

This internship was definitely the best thing that has ever happened to me. Coming to Jaipur, especially trough AIESEC, was the best decision I’ve made. Professionally, I’m learning so many different things and improving a lot my skills and abilities. However, the biggest changes are not in the professional sphere. I’m not becoming only a better marketer, but a better human being. The best part of all this crazy and beautiful experience has been living a different culture, meeting different people, opening my life and my heart to new and unexpected things. I’ll never be the same girl that arrived here some months ago. Now, when I think about India, I know that Brazil is not my only home.

Stories of incoming exchangers

India shaped my mind, anchored my identity, influenced my beliefs, and made me who I am so far . One of the best experiences here is the train trip , it was my first time on a train , I had never imagined that it was going to be this magical and touchy also scary in a funny way. It gave me the chance to see the beach again that I’m forbidden to see in my country, and India taught me the real face of beauty which is inside each and everyone , it made me human again , it's much deeper than anyone can imagine , it’ s a must journey for every human in  the world , it gave me hope and a reason to live again ,   India matters to me and I would like to matter to India

Yesterday I spent almost two hours telling some friends about my experience in India. I realized yesterday, after two months back how much this internship really changed myself. Specially speaking about my body as the capability to get adapt to the environment and to know how to circumvent the difficulties. Like the foot that walks steady in hard floor and the foot that follows the rhythm on sandy floor, I learnt to see that all those daily difficulties were the best thing of that life, building a better  version of who I am now.

Each traveling experience is unique, and personal, but if you really want to know a place where you can find yourself and discover what you really want to do in life, the best place to go to is India. Far away from the things and places that you used to know, you will be faced with yourself, finding your inner peace in the middle of the chaos. Besides, you can still work in your professional field and meet people that in time will become your family.  Why Jaipur? Simply put, the traditional customs of the Rajasthani culture make your travel fantastic and funny, full of unexpected events: an experience that you could have never imagined.

I still remember the very first time I saw Jaipur.  Everything there was totally new for me, and so different than Brazil that for some time I really couldn’t believe that I was still in the same planet. And then, after a very short time, that place became home for me.

My internship in Jaipur was much better than all my expectations. I could learn so many things, develop new skills and abilities and become a better marketer. But the best part of my Indian experience was living in Jaipur with so many nice people, interns and AIESECers who became my great friends and family and who helped me to feel home even being so far from my country. All the trips, parties, meetings, conversations and good moments that I’ve lived with them are now my best memories and the things that I miss the most.

I spent 7 months in Jaipur and now, back to Brazil, I can see that I couldn’t ask for anything better than the experience I’ve had there. My life has changed a lot in all the good ways. I hope that someday I can visit India and specially Jaipur again, and meet again all those special people who made my internship so amazing.

Ok ... Before i came here most of the people told me I was crazy and maybe I was making a mistake... Most of them couldn't conceive the idea of me quitting a job and a life to go abroad ... But It was not just "abroad " ,but "India "Somehow they knew India was different but they didn't know they were wrong in thinking that different doesn't mean "Bad or worse"... India has changed my life in all senses ..but being here through AIESEC made it even better ... Through AIESEC I realized that the world can suddenly become so small and so accessible to everyone that wants to dare to be different and actually do something in life that is not just about money but something more fulfilling that actually you feel passionate about ....
AIESEC is a way of life .. Is the stepping stone to reach as far as you want to ...
It's family , it's culture , it's fun , it's knowledge , it's achieving your goals , it's growing up , it's happiness ....
I never thought I could feel this happy and safe in India but here I am ! ... living my life and I could dare to stay I ve never felt so complete in both personal and professional ways ...

Once I heard:" India is a place where you cry twice, the first one is when you arrive , because you realize it is extremely different to your country, and the second one is when you are leaving , because you found in this place the most amazing and former experience in your life". This place for me is synonym of happiness, friendship and personal development.

The culture, the cities, the religion and the new people that I met Indians and no- Indians  gave me lessons of life, because I discovered the value of the family, the dreams and the hard work.

many people asked to me: why did you choose India to do your internship ? my answer is I didn´t  choose it, India chose me , because I needed to learn something of that land and after that i understood the real meaning of Incredible India.

Now I left India, and what I can say is that I left India with a fulfilled heart, with people and feelings that I’ve never expected to meet, and I must say that coming to India was the BEST experience of MY LIFE! And something tells me that I’ll come back, soon.

ps: someone told me that you don't change in India, you get better… that’s how I feel now.. I’m a better person for sure.
